Yes, it’s very easy.  Scoll down to view the online Canada Helps donation form right here on this page.  Donations made online through our partner charity Canada Helps are received by NALT and Canada Helps will issue you a charitable tax receipt for your generousity.

Yes to all of the above!  You can fill in and print our DONATION FORM and email it, mail it or drop it off with your contribution – payment options listed on form. If you choose to stop by the Stewardship Centre in person, please call ahead – sometimes we are out in the field and not in the office. If you prefer, call our office and a staff member will be happy to process your credit card payment over the phone.

Of NALT’s more than 400 members, about 130 so far have made the switch to monthly giving. This represents about $30,000 a year that NALT can count on – which is a significant portion of NALT’s annual programs budget! It’s easy to join.

Contact us to pre-authorize a regular withdrawal from your account or credit card for as little as $5 a month or if you prefer, fill in and download our MONTHLY GIVING FORM and mail it to our office. You can also sign up online for the Monthly Giving Program by scrolling down to the donation form further down this page and select the Donate Monthly button.

A monthly donation assures that your membership is renewed indefinitely.

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the Nanaimo & Area Land Trust Society. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to the Nanaimo & Area Land Trust Society through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for the Nanaimo & Area Land Trust Society to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, you will receive a tax receipt and we will put your gift to good use. Please click HERE to donate a vehicle.

Thanks to a partnership with American Friends of Canadian Conservation (AFCC) you can help us achieve our mission to support, promote, and protect the natural values of land and water in our area by making a tax-deductible contribution of cash or securities.

Support our work in one of the following ways:

Donate online at AFCC’s secure site using your credit card or PayPal. You can make a one-time contribution, or arrange for your donation to recur at any interval convenient for you.

Print, fill out, sign and send a Grant Recommendation with your check to request that AFCC uses your donation to make a grant to Nanaimo & Area Land Trust.  The language in the recommendation is necessary for your gift to be tax deductible in the US.

You can conserve your Canadian property through a gift that is tax deductible in the US.

American Friends of Canadian Conservation  (AFCC) was created to remove the tax and legal barriers that prevented US taxpayers from permanently protecting their Canadian natural lands. Gifts of land and conservation easements (aka covenants, servitudes) to AFCC are charitable donations in the US and effectively not subject to Canadian capital gains. Nanaimo & Area Land Trust would partner with AFCC to complete your conservation gift and would be the local land steward.
