Native Plant Talk and Walk
Where: NALT Natural Abundance Native Plant Nursery, 3145 Frost Road (off Spruston Road in Cassidy)
When: 12 – 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10

Admission: By donation, with proceeds to the NALT nursery

Who: Norm Wagenaar, gardener and environmental writer, will talk about Getting Started With Native Plants
Bi (‘Bee’) Monteiro, Ecological Restoration student and Syntropic Agroforestry practitioner, will guide a walk through Parnassian Woods, the beautiful forest and wetland area on the NALT nursery property, which was generously donated by Anneke & Peter Van Kerkoerle.

Please bring a lawn chair and wear light hiking footwear. Weather permitting, the native plant talk will be held outside.
